Brisc Tablet belongs to a class of medications called 'haematinics' used to treat anaemia (lack of blood) due to iron deficiency and chronic kidney disease. Anaemia is a condition in which the body does not have enough red blood cells to carry the adequate oxygen required to various body tissues.
Brisc Tablet contains Ferrous ascorbate, which is a combination of iron and vitamin C. Iron works by replenishing iron stores, and vitamin C enhances iron absorption in the body. Thus, Brisc Tablet helps to treat iron deficiency.
Take Brisc Tablet as advised by your doctor. In some cases, you may experience vomiting, nausea, diarrhoea or dark-coloured stool. Most of these side effects of Brisc Tablet do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.
If you are allergic to Brisc Tablet or any other medicines, please tell your doctor. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, consult a doctor before using Brisc Tablet . Brisc Tablet should be used in children only if recommended by a doctor. You are recommended to take Brisc Tablet for as long as it is advised by your doctor.
Brisc Tablet contains Ferrous ascorbate, which is a combination of iron and vitamin C. Iron works by replenishing iron stores by increasing red blood cells (RBC) and haemoglobin (a protein) production in the body. As a result, an adequate number of RBCs are produced in the body so that each tissue gets a sufficient supply of oxygen. Thus, it replenishes iron stores in the body. Vitamin C enhances iron absorption in the body. Thereby, Brisc Tablet helps to treat iron deficiency.
