Zita-D5 Tablet belongs to the anti-diabetic medicines used to treat type-2 diabetes mellitus as an adjunct to diet and exercise. Type-2 diabetes mellitus, or non-insulin-dependent diabetes or adult-onset diabetes, is a medical condition in which blood glucose levels are above normal.
Zita-D5 Tablet contains Teneligliptin and Dapagliflozin. Teneligliptin decreases the release of glucagon, a hormone that raises blood sugar levels and increases insulin release from the pancreas. Dapagliflozin removes excess sugar from the body via urine. Together, Zita-D5 Tablet helps treat type-2 diabetes mellitus.
Sometimes, you may experience side effects such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, headache, and stomach upset. These side effects may not require medical attention and resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to consult the doctor if any side effects persist or worsen.
