About Xinasone C Cream

Xinasone C Cream belongs to a class of drugs called 'steroids' primarily used to treat various skin conditions like swelling, itching, and redness like psoriasis (scales and itchy, dry patches), dermatitis (itchy, swelling of the skin), and eczema (itchy, cracked, swollen or rough skin). The skin's swelling occurs when an allergic reaction or skin irritation releases several substances in the skin that widens blood vessels and cause itching, redness, pain, and swelling in the irritated area.

Xinasone C Cream contains 'Desoximetasone' a steroid that works by acting inside skin cells and inhibits the release of certain chemical messengers in the body that cause redness, itching, and swelling. When the skin reacts to any allergens, such chemicals are released normally.

Use Xinasone C Cream as prescribed by your doctor. Xinasone C Cream is only for external use. You are advised to use Xinasone C Cream for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you based on your medical condition. Some people may experience dryness, itching, irritation, or a burning sensation. Most of these side effects of Xinasone C Cream do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.

If you are allergic to Xinasone C Cream or any other medicines, please tell your doctor. If you are pregnant or a breastfeeding mother, it is advised to consult a doctor before using Xinasone C Cream. Do not use Xinasone C Cream in more than prescribed doses, or on a large area of skin for a prolonged period as it may cause adverse effects. Do not cover or wrap the treated area with a bandage unless advised by your doctor.  Avoid smoking or going near naked flames as Xinasone C Cream catches fire and burns easily. Do not use Xinasone C Cream on the face, groin area, or underarms. Do not swallow Xinasone C Cream. In case of accidental swallowing, rinse your mouth with plenty of water or consult a doctor immediately.
