About Vitazyme Drops

Vitazyme Drops is a digestive aid primarily used to treat dyspepsia (indigestion). It is also an appetite stimulant (increases hunger) that effectively treats flatulence (gas), epigastric distress (upper abdominal pain), and eructation (burping). Vitazyme Drops may also be used to relieve digestive disorders in children, during pregnancy, old age, and a period of convalescence (recovering from an illness or injury). Indigestion is the inability to digest food associated with pain and discomfort in the stomach.

Vitazyme Drops contains Caraway oil, Cardamom oil, Cinnamon oil and Diastase. Caraway oil improves digestion and relieves spasms in the stomach and intestines. Cardamom oil is a flavouring agent with antibacterial, antiseptic, and antispasmodic properties. It stimulates appetite and relieves indigestion. Cinnamon oil is an antiflatulent and anti-inflammatory agent that relieves an upset stomach. Diastase is an amylolytic enzyme that breaks down complex starch molecules into maltose (sugar) for easy digestion.

Vitazyme Drops is generally safe to use. However, some may experience side effects like abdominal pain, diarrhoea, nausea and vomiting. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and resolve gradually over time. Although not everyone experiences these side effects, if they occur persistently, please seek medical attention.

Do not use Vitazyme Drops if you are allergic to any content present in it. If you have a history of inflammation/swelling of the pancreas (acute pancreatitis), let your doctor know about it. The oral syrup should be cautiously administered in diabetic patients since it may contain sucrose. You can try opting for sugar-free formulations. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should use Vitazyme Drops with proper consultation and caution.

Medicinal Benefits

Vitazyme Drops helps relieve digestive disorders like indigestion, heartburn, gas, and abdominal discomfort. It contains Caraway oil, Cardamom oil, Cinnamon oil and Diastase. Caraway oil improves digestion and relieves spasms. Cardamom oil is a flavouring agent with antibacterial, antiseptic, and antispasmodic properties. It stimulates appetite and relieves indigestion. Cinnamon oil is an antiflatulent and anti-inflammatory agent that relieves an upset stomach. Diastase is a starch hydrolysing or amylolytic enzyme that breaks down the starch into simple sugars (maltose) for easy digestion of starch, carbohydrates, fats, and proteins. It is used to aid digestion in chronic illness, stomach fullness, and indigestion. Caraway, Cardamom, and Cinnamon oils are carminative agents. Thus, Vitazyme Drops promotes the digestion of carbohydrates and proteins and helps absorb the essential nutrients in the intestine.
