About Ultrafolin Tablet

Ultrafolin Tablet belongs to the class of 'nutritional supplements', primarily used to treat nutritional deficiencies. It is used to treat and prevent niacin deficiency (pellagra), folate deficiency, and vitamin B12 deficiency. Nutritional deficiency occurs when the body is unable to absorb or get enough nutrients from food. It could lead to various health problems, including defective bone growth, skin disorders, digestive issues, and dementia (memory loss).

Ultrafolin Tablet contains Folic acid, Vitamin B12 (Methylcobalamin/Mecobalamin), and Nicotinamide (vitamin B3). Folic acid is the synthetic form of folate. Folate is a water-soluble Vitamin B naturally found in food sources. It helps in the formation of red blood cells and prevents DNA changes that may lead to cancer. Vitamin B12 regulates body functions, such as cell multiplication, blood formation, and protein synthesis. Nicotinamide (also known as Niacinamide) is a form of vitamin B3 (niacin). It helps in replenishing the energy in the body cells and provides essential nutrients.
