Tobrun Eye Drops 5 ml belongs to the class of aminoglycoside antibiotics. It is used for the treatment of bacterial eye infections. Bacterial eye infection occurs when harmful bacteria invade any eye part, such as the eyeball, conjunctiva, or cornea.

Tobrun Eye Drops 5 ml contains tobramycin, an antibiotic that works by killing the infection-causing bacteria. Thus Tobrun Eye Drops 5 ml treats bacterial eye infections.

Use Tobrun Eye Drops 5 ml as prescribed by your doctor. The common side-effects of Tobrun Eye Drops 5 ml are eye irritation, feeling of having something in the eye, swollen/itchy eyelids, eye redness, increased tearing and inflammation of the cornea (clear front portion of your eye). Most of these side effects fade away gradually over time without the need for medical intervention. However, consult your doctor if you experience these side effects frequently.

Tobrun Eye Drops 5 ml is for ophthalmic (eye) use only; do not inject or swallow. Do not use Tobrun Eye Drops 5 ml if you are allergic to tobramycin, other aminoglycoside antibiotics, or any components in Tobrun Eye Drops 5 ml. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, notify your doctor. Tobrun Eye Drops 5 ml may temporarily blur your vision; therefore, wait until your vision is back to normal before using any machinery or driving.

Do not use if you are allergic to tobramycin, another aminoglycoside antibiotic, or any of the components of Tobrun Eye Drops 5 ml. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, talk to your doctor. You may have temporary blurred vision after using Tobrun Eye Drops 5 ml; consequently, wait until your vision returns to normal before driving or operating any machinery. Before using Tobrun Eye Drops 5 ml, notify your doctor if you have vision problems, severe eye pain, glaucoma (high blood pressure in the eye), eye damage, or eye surgery.

• Get at least eight hours of sleep each night to naturally refresh your eyes.
• Wash your eyes with clean water at least twice or thrice daily. If you had eye surgery, wash your eyes after two weeks.
• Take care of your health by eating a well-balanced diet, exercising regularly, and getting plenty of rest.
• If you wear contact lenses, clean and replace them more frequently. Never share your contact lenses. Always wash your hands before and after inserting and removing contact lenses.
• Avoid gazing at digital screens for extended periods. For every 20 minutes, take a break.
• Blink frequently to aid in transmitting hydrating substances like mucus and tears across the eyes.
