Tobraneg 20 Mg Inj is used to treat bacterial infections of the brain and spinal cord (meningitis), stomach or intestines, bladder or kidney (urinary tract infection), lungs (pneumonia), and bone, skin or soft tissue, including burns. A bacterial infection is a condition in which harmful bacteria grow in the body and cause infection. It can infect any part of the body and multiply very quickly. Tobraneg 20 Mg Inj does not work against infections caused by a virus.
Tobraneg 20 Mg Inj contains Tobramycin, an aminoglycoside antibiotic. It works by inhibiting protein synthesis in bacterial cells. Thus, it kills bacteria and treats infection.
Tobraneg 20 Mg Inj will be administered by a healthcare professional. Do not self-administer. Sometimes, Tobraneg 20 Mg Inj may cause side effects such as pain, redness or swelling at the injection site, passing more urine than usual, headache, nausea or vomiting. Most of these side effects of Tobraneg 20 Mg Inj do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.
If you are allergic to Tobramycin or other antibiotics, or any other medicines, please tell your doctor. Avoid receiving Tobraneg 20 Mg Inj and inform your doctor if you are pregnant, planning for pregnancy, or breastfeeding. Drive only if you are alert after receiving it as it may cause dizziness, tiredness or drowsiness in some people.
