Drug Interactions

Drug-drug interactions: Tilone OP Oral Paste may interact with other corticosteroids or non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), antifungals (itraconazole and ketoconazole), antibiotics (clarithromycin, telithromycin, and rifampicin), an antidepressant (nefazodone), blood thinners, birth control pills,  diuretics, bronchodilators (theophylline),  antiarrhythmic drugs (digoxin), anticonvulsants (phenytoin) and drug used to treat rheumatoid arthritis (cyclosporine).

Drug-food interactions: Avoid consumption of alcohol.

Drug-disease interactions: Tilone OP Oral Paste should be used with caution in patients with liver and kidney diseases, thyroid disorder, diabetes, malaria, tuberculosis, osteoporosis (bone thinning), glaucoma or cataracts, stomach ulcers, diverticulitis (inflammation of pouches formed in the gut), depression or mental illness, congestive heart failure and high blood pressure.
