Tenepride P 20/15 mg Tablet belongs to the group of anti-diabetic medicines used to treat type-2 diabetes mellitus. Type-2 diabetes mellitus is also known as non-insulin-dependent diabetes or adult-onset diabetes. It is a condition in which the blood glucose levels are above normal.

Tenepride P 20/15 mg Tablet contains Pioglitazone and Teneligliptin. Pioglitazone increases the body’s sensitivity to insulin, and teneligliptin decreases the release of hormones that raise blood sugar levels and increases the release of insulin from the pancreas. Together, Tenepride P 20/15 mg Tablet helps treat type-2 diabetes mellitus.

In some cases, Tenepride P 20/15 mg Tablet may cause side effects such as headache, muscle pain, and vision problems. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to consult the doctor if any side effects persist or worsen.

Do not take Tenepride P 20/15 mg Tablet if you are allergic to any of its components. Inform the doctor if you have kidney or liver problems, heart failure, diabetic ketoacidosis, congestive heart failure, heart attack or stroke, eye problems, or bladder cancer. Consult the doctor if you are pregnant or breast-feeding. Let the doctor know if you take other medicines, including supplements and herbal products.
