About Tasiron Baby Drop
Tasiron Baby Drop is primarily used to treat anaemia (lack of blood) and folic acid deficiency that occurs mainly due to poor diet, poor absorption of food, or increased folate use in the body (in pregnancy). Anaemia is a condition in which the body does not have enough red blood cells to carry adequate oxygen required to various body tissues.
Tasiron Baby Drop is a combination of two drugs: Ferric diphosphate (iron supplement) and folic acid (a form of vitamin B9). Tasiron Baby Drop works by increasing red blood cells (RBC) and haemoglobin (a protein) production in the body. As a result, an adequate number of RBCs are produced in the body so that the body's tissue gets a sufficient supply of oxygen.
Take Tasiron Baby Drop as advised by your doctor. In some cases, you may experience vomiting, nausea, constipation, diarrhoea, stomach pain or a change in the colour of the stool. Most of these side effects of Tasiron Baby Drop do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.
If you have an allergy to any sugars, inform your doctor before taking Tasiron Baby Drop as it may contain lactose. Tasiron Baby Drop should be used with caution in children and only if recommended by a doctor. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, consult a doctor before using Tasiron Baby Drop . If you have a stomach ulcer, vitamin B12 deficiency, any blood disorder, repeated blood transfusions, ulcerative colitis (inflammation of the colon), pernicious anaemia (anaemia due to lack of vitamin B12) or folate-dependent tumour, inform your doctor before taking Tasiron Baby Drop .
