Silverex SSD Cream is a wound care solution that combines the powerful antibacterial properties of Chlorhexidine Gluconate and Silver Sulphadiazine. Its dual-action formula is effective against a broad spectrum of bacteria, making it instrumental in maintaining a sterile environment for wound healing. The cream base allows for easy application and ensures an even distribution of the active ingredients. Plus, the presence of Silver Sulphadiazine not only enhances its antimicrobial benefits but also contributes to wound healing and minimizes infection risks.
This versatile cream can be used for different types of wounds, burns, and skin infections. Encased in a handy 10 gm pack, it's suitable for both first aid kits and on-the-go use. Clinically proven to aid wound healing, Silverex SSD Cream is a solid choice for optimal skin health.
Silverex SSD Cream is a combination medicine primarily used to treat burns and prevent skin infections. Burns are common household injuries that damage the skin or deeper tissues and cause the death of affected skin cells. Based on the severity of skin damage, burns are categorized into three main types: first-degree, second-degree, and third-degree burns.
Silverex SSD Cream is a combination of two drugs: Silver sulfadiazine (nanonized) and Chlorhexidine gluconate. Silver sulfadiazine (nanonized) belongs to the class of sulfa antibiotics that inhibit the production of folic acid (a vitamin) necessary for bacteria to multiply. Thus it destroys bacteria. Chlorhexidine gluconate belongs to the antiseptics class that works by binding to the skin strongly, and it kills micro-organisms on the skin and prevents infection.
Silverex SSD Cream is for external use only. Avoid contact of Silverex SSD Cream with nose, ears, mouth, or eyes. In case Silverex SSD Cream comes in contact with these areas accidentally, rinse with water thoroughly. In some cases, you may experience irritation, itching, or burning sensation at the site of application. Most of these side effects of Silverex SSD Cream do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.
If you are allergic to any of the components in Silverex SSD Cream, please tell your doctor. Do not swallow Silverex SSD Cream. In case of accidental swallowing, contact a nearby poison control centre or consult a doctor immediately. If you are pregnant or a nursing mother, please inform your doctor before using Silverex SSD Cream. Do not apply Silverex SSD Cream in large amounts or use it for a long time than prescribed, as it does not give quick or better results but increases the risk of side effects. Avoid contact of Silverex SSD Cream with clothes or fabric as it may cause staining.
