Sevista 30 Tablet is used to prevent unintended pregnancy. It is a non-hormonal and non-steroidal contraceptive with very few side effects. Unintended pregnancy is a pregnancy that occurred either unwanted when no children or no more children were desired. Also, pregnancy is mistimed, such as the pregnancy occurring earlier than desired.

Sevista 30 Tablet contains 'Ormeloxifene', which prevents implantation on the wall of the uterus. Sevista 30 Tablet may also change the lining of the uterus to prevent the development of a pregnancy. Sevista 30 Tablet does not have any effect if you are already pregnant; hence, it does not cause abortion.

Take Sevista 30 Tablet as prescribed by your doctor. Your doctor will recommend how often you take Sevista 30 Tablet based on your medical condition. In some cases, you may experience irregular or delayed periods. Most of these side effects of Sevista 30 Tablet subside with time. However, if the side effects are persistent, reach out to your doctor.

Do not take Sevista 30 Tablet if you are allergic to Sevista 30 Tablet or any of the ingredients. Do not take Sevista 30 Tablet if you are already pregnant. Sevista 30 Tablet cannot terminate the pregnancy. Sevista 30 Tablet is safe is taken by breastfeeding women. For the first three months, when you start taking Sevista 30 Tablet , it is better to use a condom to avoid an unplanned pregnancy.

• Opt for a diet rich in whole grains, fruits, veggies and low-fat dairy products.

• Quitting smoking and not drinking alcohol is the best strategy to lower the risk of any complications.

• Avoid chronic stress and physical exercise like running, as it might increase vaginal bleeding.

• Monitor your blood pressure daily and if there is too much fluctuation, immediately contact your doctor.

• Take a pregnancy test about a week after you take Sevista 30 Tablet .

• Try to include heart-healthy omega-three fatty acid-containing food drinks in your daily diet. You can also use low-fat cooking oil like olive oil, soybean oil, canola oil and coconut oil to lower your elevated blood pressure.

• Consult your doctor if your periods are delayed by more than 7/10 days for a pregnancy test.
