About Senquel AD Mouth Wash

Senquel AD Mouth Wash belongs to the class of ‘oral and dental products’ primarily used to treat dental problems. Senquel AD Mouth Wash effectively treats various dental problems, such as bad breath (also called halitosis), cavities (little holes in your teeth), gum/periodontal disease (infection of gums surrounding teeth), mouth sores, tooth-erosion (loss of tooth structure), and tooth sensitivity (pain/discomfort to your teeth caused by eating icecreams, cool drinks, and sweets).

Senquel AD Mouth Wash consists of two medicines, namely: Potassium nitrate and Sodium fluoride. Potassium nitrate is used to prevent cavities and reduce pain from sensitive teeth. Sodium fluoride makes teeth more resistant to tooth decay and bacteria which are responsible for cavities, and it also helps to strengthen the teeth enamel.

Use Senquel AD Mouth Wash as instructed by your doctor. Diet & Lifestyle Advise

  • Eat sugary foods with meals. Your mouth makes more saliva during meals. This helps to reduce the effect of acid production and to rinse pieces of food from the mouth.
  • Limit between-meal snacks. If you crave a snack, choose something nutritious. Think about chewing sugarless gum afterward to increase saliva flow and wash out food and acid.
  • Drink more water. Fluoridated water can help prevent tooth decay. If you choose bottled water, check the label for the fluoride content.
  • Brush your teeth twice a day.
  • Floss once a day.
  • Avoid carbonated drinks, starchy foods, sticky candies, and sweets.

Special Advise

  • Use of Senquel AD Mouth Wash may cause temporary discoloration of the teeth or tongue, which can be removed by twice-daily brushing with Senquel AD Mouth Wash  or consulting your dentist.
  • Avoid drinking beverages like tea or coffee and smoking, especially up to 1 hour after using Senquel AD Mouth Wash .
  • Children under 2 months of age should not use Senquel AD Mouth Wash until and unless recommended by a dentist or doctor.
  • Don't wash away the Senquel AD Mouth Wash at least for 30min to get the most benefit from a fluoride mouthwash.
