About Pregabrit Plus Capsule

Pregabrit Plus Capsule is used in the management of neuropathic pain. Neuropathic pain is a chronic progressive nerve disease that causes nerve pain due to nerve damage or a malfunctioning nervous system. Symptoms of neuropathic pain include shooting and burning pain followed by tingling and numbness (loss of sensation). Neuropathic pain can be caused by amputation of limbs, diabetic neuropathy (nerve damage due to excess blood sugar level), excessive alcohol intake (alcoholism) and cancer treatment via chemotherapy.

Pregabrit Plus Capsule is a combination of five drugs: Pregabalin, Methylcobalamin, Alpha-lipoic acid, Pyridoxine, and Folic acid. Pregabalin affects the chemicals in the brain that send pain signals to the nervous system, thereby relieving nerve pain. Methylcobalamin and Pyridoxine help in the rejuvenation and protection of damaged nerve cells by producing a substance called myelin. Alpha-lipoic acid helps in providing a protective effect on the nerve tissues and brain. Folic acid helps in delivering essential nutrients to the nerves. Together, Pregabrit Plus Capsule provides relief from neuropathic pain.

Take Pregabrit Plus Capsule with or without food. Swallow Pregabrit Plus Capsule as a whole with a glass of water; do not chew or break it. In some cases, you may experience certain common side effects, such as dizziness, sleepiness, tiredness, nausea, and vomiting. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to your doctor if you experience these side effects persistently.

Consult your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Pregabrit Plus Capsule may cause drowsiness and dizziness, so drive only if you are alert. Pregabrit Plus Capsule should not be given to children as safety and effectiveness have not been established. Avoid consuming alcohol along with Pregabrit Plus Capsule as it could lead to increased dizziness and sleepiness. Keep your doctor informed about your health condition and medicines to rule out any side effects.
