About Pneumo 23 Injection

Pneumo 23 Injection belongs to a class of medicines known as an immunizing agent. It is primarily used to treat pneumococcal infections. Pneumococcal disease is a severe infection produced by bacteria. Pneumococcal bacteria can infect the sinuses (small air pockets placed at the back of your forehead, cheekbones, nose and in between the eyes) and inner ear. Pneumo 23 Injection contains ‘Pneumococcal conjugate vaccine’ which is a type of vaccine. It helps to develop immunity by starting a mild infection.
