About Pepimmune Tablet

Pepimmune Tablet is used to boost immunity and help the body fight against various infections. Immunity is termed as the capability to resist a disease/infection by preventing the development of harmful microorganisms or counteracting its effects.

Pepimmune Tablet is a combination of Vitamin C (Ascorbic acid), Vitamin D3 (Cholecalciferol), and Zinc. Vitamin C is a water-soluble vitamin and an antioxidant that prevents cell damage. It enhances iron absorption from foods and boosts immunity. Vitamin D3 helps maintain blood calcium and phosphorus levels and mineralisation of bone. It is used to treat and prevent bone disorders, such as rickets and osteomalacia. Zinc is a mineral that promotes the growth and development of body tissues. It is essential for vision, fighting against rhinoviruses (that cause the common cold), immune function, bone metabolism, taste, wound healing, insulin production, blood clotting, and thyroid function.

Your doctor will decide the dosage based on your medical condition. Pepimmune Tablet is likely safe to consume. In some cases, it may cause side effects like diarrhoea, nausea, and vomiting. Pepimmune Tablet supports the immune system to fight against various diseases and prevents nutritional deficiencies. It is composed of Vitamin C (Ascorbic acid), Vitamin D3 (Cholecalciferol), and Zinc. Vitamin C is an antioxidant that prevents cell damage and boosts immunity. It prevents scurvy, a condition caused by low Vitamin C levels in the body that causes anaemia, rashes, weakness, and fatigue. Vitamin D3 is used to treat and prevent bone disorders, such as rickets and osteomalacia. It also reduces inflammation and promotes neuromuscular and immune functions. Zinc is a mineral that promotes the growth and development of body tissues. Directions for Use

Tablet/Capsule: Swallow it as a whole with a glass of water. Do not crush, chew or break it. Chewable tablet: Take the chewable tablet by mouth. Chew it completely before swallowing.Effervescent tablet: Dissolve the effervescent tablet in half a glass of water. Drink the solution immediately.

Drug-Drug Interaction: Pepimmune Tablet may interact with antibiotics (minocycline, tetracycline, demeclocycline, ciprofloxacin, norfloxacin), antirheumatics (penicillamine), anti-cancer drugs (cisplatin), and water pills (amiloride).

Drug-Food Interaction: It is advised to limit alcohol intake while using Pepimmune Tablet .

Drug-Disease Interaction: Pepimmune Tablet should be used with caution in heart, liver or kidney diseases. Please seek medical advice if you have any pre-existing medical conditions.

Zinc deficiency is caused when you don't have enough zinc levels in your body. You can include natural zinc sources like meat, shellfish, legumes, hemp seeds, nuts, eggs, dairy products, whole grains, potatoes, kale, and dark chocolate in your diet for treating zinc deficiency. If you still have low levels of zinc, please consult your doctor for zinc supplements.
Zinc in Pepimmune Tablet may decrease the absorption of antibiotics, thereby reducing their effectiveness. It is advised to maintain at least an hour gap between Pepimmune Tablet and other antibiotics.
If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. However, if it is time for the next scheduled dose, skip the missed dose and follow your usual dosage.
