Ovatrue Tablet 1 belongs to the group of sex steroid hormones used for treating female infertility. It helps in maintaining the hormonal balance in the body and improving pregnancy rates by its endocrinal stimulation of egg cells. Female infertility is a condition in which a woman is unable to conceive despite frequent unprotected sex for at least a year, due to a lack of natural progesterone. 

Ovatrue Tablet 1 contains 'Dehydroepiandrosterone, Folic acid and Vitamin D3'. Ovatrue Tablet 1 treats infertility by enhancing the success rate of pregnancy and conception through mechanisms such as follicle stimulation, promoting healthy egg cell production and eliminating defunct ova. Ovatrue Tablet 1 also helps in enhancing bone density and health due to its Vitamin D3 content. 

In some cases, Ovatrue Tablet 1 may cause certain common side effects such as oily skin, mood change and sweating. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to your doctor if these side effects persist. 

It is advisable to inform the doctor if you are allergic to any of the components of Ovatrue Tablet 1. Keep your doctor informed if you suffer from hypersensitivity or any cardiac disorders. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Talk to your doctor before taking alcohol with Ovatrue Tablet 1 as there may be an interaction.

Ovatrue Tablet 1 is a sex hormone combination. It contains Dehydroepiandrosterone, Folic acid and Vitamin D3. It is used primarily to improve fertility rates in conjunction with IVF. Dehydroepiandrosterone helps in follicular stimulation, thus promoting healthy egg cell production and bettering the chances of pregnancy. Folic acid is very important in the production of new and healthy blood cells. Folic acid acts as a promoter in the manufacturing of mood-lifting hormones Serotonin, Dopamine and Norepinephrine, which are responsible for regulating mood and helping combat depression. Additionally, it is vital in the maintenance of foetal growth and development and thus is an essential element in pregnancy. Vitamin D3 (Cholecalciferol) is instrumental in augmenting pregnancy rates in IVF treatments, by enhancing ovarian reserves. In conjunction, Ovatrue Tablet 1 is hence used to treat infertility and mood changes related to hormonal imbalance.

Keep your doctor informed if you have a history or are suffering from breast cancer, ovarian cancer, cervical cancer, endometriosis, fibroids, polycystic ovaries, depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, liver disease, kidney disease, tumours, head and neck cancers, pernicious anaemia, if you are undergoing haemodialysis or are receiving a coronary stent. Consult your doctor before starting Ovatrue Tablet 1 if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. It may not be safe to take Ovatrue Tablet 1 with alcohol, so please consult your doctor before taking alcohol with Ovatrue Tablet 1 as there may be an interaction.

Drug-Drug Interactions: Ovatrue Tablet 1 may interact with melatonin hormone, anti-epileptics (phenytoin, phenobarbital, primidone), antidepressants and mood stabilisers (lithium, fluoxetine, sertraline, citalopram, paroxetine), antipsychotics (olanzapine, clozapine, chlorpromazine), hormones (oestrogen, testosterone), anti-diabetic (insulin), antacids (ranitidine, cimetidine), chemotherapy (fluorouracil), anti-IBD drugs (sulfasalazine), anti-TB drugs (isoniazid), antibiotics (trimethoprim, cotrimoxazole) and cholesterol-reducing drugs (cholestyramine).

Drug-Disease Interactions: Ovatrue Tablet 1 should be used with caution in patients with a known hypersensitivity disorder, breast cancer, ovarian cancer, cervical cancer, endometriosis, fibroids, polycystic ovaries, depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, established liver disease, kidney disease, tumours, head and neck cancers or pernicious anaemia. Avoid Ovatrue Tablet 1 if you are undergoing haemodialysis or are receiving a coronary stent.

• Reducing weight and having a healthy BMI is very important to improve fertility.
• Avoid smoking to improve fertility. 
• For better fertility, avoid caffeine and caffeinated drinks.
• Eat foods rich in antioxidants like zinc and folate and cut down on carbs. Increase your fibre intake.

• Bring any mood swings or mood changes to your doctor's attention. Please see a mental health care professional if need be. 
• Please know that your doctor may order blood tests to check your blood sugar and cholesterol while you are on Ovatrue Tablet 1.

Female Infertility: Female infertility is defined as the inability to get pregnant despite frequent unprotected sex for one year at least (or six months, if 35 years of age). Age, weight, hormones and other organic causes are usually responsible for infertility. However, infertility is mostly a treatable condition.
