Ofloxiv OZ Oral Suspension

Ofloxiv OZ Oral Suspension is indicated in the treatment of bacterial infections in children. It may also be used to treat diarrhoea and dysentery. A bacterial infection is a condition in which harmful bacteria enter, multiply, and infect the body.

Ofloxiv OZ Oral Suspension contains Ofloxacin and Ornidazole. Ofloxacin inhibits DNA gyrase, and Ornidazole prevents protein synthesis, which leads to cell death and kills the bacteria. Together, Ofloxiv OZ Oral Suspension helps treat bacterial infections.

In some cases, Ofloxiv OZ Oral Suspension may cause side effects such as nausea, vomiting, stomach upset, and heartburn. Most of these side effects may not require medical attention and resolve over time. However, talk to the doctor if the side effects persist or worsen.

Ofloxiv OZ Oral Suspension is used to treat bacterial infections of the gastrointestinal tract, dental, ear, nose, throat, skin, soft tissue, lung, and urinary tract. It may also be used to treat diarrhoea and dysentery. Ofloxiv OZ Oral Suspension contains Ofloxacin and Ornidazole. Ofloxacin inhibits DNA gyrase, which is required for the replication, transcription, and repair of the DNA. Ornidazole inhibits protein synthesis and leads to cell death, thereby killing the bacteria. Together, Ofloxiv OZ Oral Suspension helps in treating bacterial infections.

Do not give Ofloxiv OZ Oral Suspension to the child if they are allergic to any of its components. Inform the doctor if the child has kidney or liver problems. Let the doctor know if your child is on any other medications, including herbal products or vitamin/mineral supplements.
