Novanib-T Ointment belongs to a class of medicines called Janus kinase inhibitors, primarily used to treat alopecia areata (hair loss). Alopecia is the thinning or loss of hair on the scalp or any hair-bearing site on the body. Novanib-T Ointment stimulates hair growth and slows down the process of balding. Novanib-T Ointment is also used in the treatment of atopic dermatitis.
Novanib-T Ointment contains Tofacitinib, which helps prevent hair cell death and promotes new hair growth.
Novanib-T Ointment may cause certain side effects, such as excessive hair growth, headache, skin irritation, itching, and rashes. Novanib-T Ointment contains Tofacitinib, which prevents hair cell death and promotes new hair growth. It promotes blood flow to the hair follicles, providing sufficient nutrition and oxygen to the hair cells. Supplying oxygen and nutrients to the hair cell prevents its death and stimulates hair growth.
Discontinue the medicine and inform your doctor if you observe any allergic reactions during the treatment. Tell your doctor if you have any history of liver/kidney disease before using Novanib-T Ointment. If you are pregnant, planning for pregnancy or breastfeeding mother, please consult a doctor before using Novanib-T Ointment. Avoid smoking or going near naked flames when you have applied the Novanib-T Ointment since it can catch fire and burn easily. Avoid contact with eyes, ears, nose, and mouth. In case of accidental contact, wash thoroughly with water and inform your doctor. Do not apply the medicine on shaved, inflamed, infected, irritated or painful scalp skin. Novanib-T Ointment is not recommended for use in children below 18 years of age.
