Nitra Gel belongs to a class of dental products used for treating tooth sensitivity (dentin hypersensitivity) and dental cavities. Nitra Gel reduces the sensitivity and pain that occur while having hot and cold food items thereby making teeth stronger to prevent formation of cavities in future. A dental cavity is a permanently damaged area in the teeth that develop into holes or tiny openings.
Nitra Gel contains two active ingredients namely: Sodium monofluoro phosphate and Potassium nitrate. Sodium monofluoro phosphate helps by making teeth stronger and resistant to decay caused by bacteria and acid. On the other hand, potassium nitrate calms the teeth' nerves and reduces sensitivity to hot and cold food items. Collectively, they both help in preventing dental cavities and treating dental cavities.
Nitra Gel is for external (dental) use only. Use Nitra Gel as advised by a dentist. Please do not use an excessive amount of Nitra Gel and also avoid swallowing it. Avoid contact with your eyes; if you accidentally touch your eye, please wash your eye immediately. Nitra Gel is generally safe and does not have any side effects. But, if you experience any allergic reactions like rashes, swelling, or itching, please consult your doctor immediately. Also, drink tap water as it contains fluoride, which reduces the chances of dental cavities. If you drink bottled water, you might miss out on the fluoride present in tap water.
Do not take Nitra Gel if you are allergic to its ingredients, Sodium monofluoro phosphate or Potassium nitrate. Use Nitra Gel within 6 months after opening this dental paste. Teeth cavities should not be left untreated as it may lead to serious complications even in children who have milk teeth. If you have kidney problems, bone or joint problems, or ulcers, please inform your doctor before taking Nitra Gel .

Dental Cavity: It is a permanently damaged area in the teeth that develop into holes or tiny openings. It can be due to many reasons like frequent snacking, not brushing teeth well, sugary drinks, bacteria in the mouth. If left untreated, they become deep and bigger. Generally, infants, teenagers, and older adults develop more teeth cavities.
Tooth sensitivity (dentin hypersensitivity): It occurs when the soft and inner part of the tooth known as ‘dentine’ becomes exposed to external triggers like cold drinks, thereby stimulating the inner tooth nerves. It results in the sharp and short sensation of tooth sensitivity.
