About Minch-AT Solution

Minch-AT Solution belongs to a class of medicines called dermatological used to treat hair loss. Alopecia (hair loss) is the thinning or loss of hair on the scalp or any part of the body.

Minch-AT Solution is a combination of three drugs: Azelaic acid, Minoxidil (vasodilator), and Tretinoin (a form of vitamin A). Azelaic acid is a naturally occurring acid that works by blocking a 5-alpha-reductase enzyme in the body that converts testosterone (male hormone) into dihydrotestosterone which causes hair loss. Thereby, it reduces dihydrotestosterone levels and slows down hair loss. Minoxidil widens the blood vessels and improves blood circulation to the hair follicles. Thus, it prevents hair loss and stimulates hair growth. Tretinoin is a form of vitamin A that promotes hair follicle growth on the scalp.

Use Minch-AT Solution as suggested by your doctor. In some cases, you may experience headaches, itching, or irritation at the site of the application. Most of these side effects of Minch-AT Solution do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.

If you are allergic to Minch-AT Solution or any other medicines, please tell your doctor. Minch-AT Solution is not recommended for children below 18 years of age. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, please consult a doctor before using Minch-AT Solution. You are recommended to avoid using Minch-AT Solution if your scalp is irritated, infected, painful, inflamed, or red. If you experience unwanted facial hair growth, scalp redness or irritation, and swelling in hands and legs, avoid using Minch-AT Solution and consult a doctor.
