About Mgdox 50 Dry Syrup

Mgdox 50 Dry Syrup belongs to the group of cephalosporin antibiotics indicated in the treatment of bacterial infections. Bacterial infections are caused due to the multiplication of harmful bacteria inside or on the body. Mgdox 50 Dry Syrup does not work against infections caused by the virus, including cold and flu.

Mgdox 50 Dry Syrup contains Cefpodoxime proxetil, which is a broad-spectrum antibiotic effective against both gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria. Mgdox 50 Dry Syrup works by preventing the formation of bacterial cell covering (cell wall), which is necessary for their survival. Thereby, Mgdox 50 Dry Syrup kills the bacteria and helps in treating bacterial infections.

In some cases, Mgdox 50 Dry Syrup may cause side effects such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea (watery or loose stool), and abdominal pain. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to the doctor if the side effects persist or worsen.

Let the doctor know if your child is allergic to any of the components in Mgdox 50 Dry Syrup. Keep the doctor informed about your child's health condition and medications to rule out any unpleasant side effects/interactions.
