Meganano gel is a specialised solution for burn and wound care. The product utilises silver in the form of nanoparticles, a broad-spectrum antimicrobial element with no reported resistance. This formulation of the Meganano gel has been crafted to give excellent antibacterial and antifungal properties.

It is designed to work effectively even at 30 times less silver concentration, making it less toxic and non-irritating for tissue. The transparent nature of the gel allows easy and direct monitoring of the wound while its nanoparticulate silver induces apoptosis, supporting scarless wound healing.

With excellent anti-inflammatory properties, Meganano gel also acts as an effective moisture retainer, promoting the healing process. Beneficially, this hydrophilic gel forms an antiseptic barrier that allows gaseous exchange but inhibits microbial entry into the wound. Its spreadability and ease of application further enhance its utility in providing superior care for burns and wounds compared to conventional antimicrobial agents.

• Cleanse the wound with a suitable cleaner.
• Apply a layer of Meganano gel to shallow wounds or entirely fill deep wounds.
• Cover the gel with an appropriate secondary dressing like gauze, hydrocolloid foam, or film based on wound drainage.
• Typically, change the dressing every 24 hours. But for less exudative wounds, less frequent changes (every 48-72 hrs) may be allowed as per the treating doctor's discretion. Ensure to cleanse and debride before application.
