About Matilda ER Tablet
Matilda ER Tablet belongs to the class of 'vitamins', primarily used to treat nutritional deficiencies. It is used to treat and prevent vitamin B6 deficiency, folate deficiency, and vitamin B12 deficiency. Nutritional deficiency occurs when the body is unable to absorb or get enough nutrients from food. It could lead to various health problems, including defective bone growth, skin disorders, digestive issues, and dementia (memory loss).
Matilda ER Tablet contains Folic acid, Pyridoxine hydrochloride, and Methylcobalamin. Folic acid helps in the formation of red blood cells and prevents DNA changes that may lead to cancer. Pyridoxine hydrochloride/vitamin B6 is involved in protein, fat, and carbohydrate metabolism and the formation of red blood cells and neurotransmitters. Methylcobalamin (Mecobalamin) regulates body functions, such as cell multiplication, blood formation, and protein synthesis.
Your doctor will decide the dosage and duration based on your medical condition. Sometimes, Matilda ER Tablet may cause common side effects like nausea, stomach upset, diarrhoea, drowsiness, flushing, and numbness/tingling. These side effects do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time.
