Lycor 1% Cream contains Hydrocortisone, a steroid that works by acting inside skin cells and inhibiting the production of certain chemical messengers in the body that cause redness, itching, and swelling. When the skin reacts to any type of allergens, such chemicals are released normally.

Use Lycor 1% Cream as prescribed. You are advised to use Lycor 1% Cream for as long as your doctor has prescribed it based on your medical condition. Lycor 1% Cream is usually safe when used in the correct amount for the prescribed time. Some people may experience burning or stinging sensations at the site of application. These side effects of Lycor 1% Cream do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.

Drug-Disease Interaction: Avoid using Lycor 1% Cream if you have athlete’s foot, cold sores, chickenpox, shingles, ringworm or thrush, impetigo, ulcerative conditions, acne, infected lesions, peri-oral dermatitis, or red appearance on the face. If you have psoriasis (scales and itchy, dry patches), inform your doctor before using Lycor 1% Cream.

• Consuming food rich in probiotics helps in developing the immune system against allergies.
• Limit intake of food that might trigger allergies such as dairy products, soy, eggs, and nuts.
• Avoid consumption of foods with excess sugar as it may flare up inflammation.
• Include fruits, vegetables, whole grains, healthy fats, and fish in your diet.
• Reducing stress and maintaining a regular sleep pattern would be helpful.
• Avoiding getting in contact with harsh soaps, detergents, and rough fabrics.
