About LM-Preg Tablet

LM-Preg Tablet is used to treat nutritional deficiencies. Nutritional deficiency occurs when the body is unable to absorb or get enough nutrients from food. It could lead to various health problems, including defective bone growth, skin disorders, digestive issues, and dementia (memory loss).

LM-Preg Tablet contains L-Methylfolate, Pyridoxal-5-phosphate, and Methylcobalamin. L-Methylfolate helps in producing new blood cells and prevents low folate levels. Pyridoxal-5-phosphate is a water-soluble vitamin involved in protein, fat, and carbohydrate metabolism and the formation of red blood cells and neurotransmitters. Methylcobalamin regulates body functions, such as cell multiplication, blood formation, and protein synthesis.

Your doctor will decide the duration based on your medical condition. Sometimes, LM-Preg Tablet may cause common side effects like nausea, stomach upset, and diarrhoea. These side effects do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, please consult your doctor if the side effects persist or worsen.

Let your doctor know if you use any other medicines or herbal products before starting LM-Preg Tablet . If you are allergic to any of the components, please inform your doctor. If you are a pregnant or breastfeeding mother, please consult your doctor before taking LM-Preg Tablet . LM-Preg Tablet should not be given to children unless advised by a doctor. It is not known if alcohol interacts with LM-Preg Tablet , so consult a doctor if you have any concerns.

Management and treatment of Nutritional deficiencies

Medicinal Benefits

LM-Preg Tablet is used to treat nutritional deficiencies. It contains L-Methylfolate, Pyridoxal-5-phosphate, and Methylcobalamin. L-Methylfolate helps the formation of red blood cells and prevents DNA changes that may lead to cancer. It prevents and treats folate deficiency. Pyridoxal-5-phosphate (vitamin B6) is involved in protein, fat, carbohydrate metabolism and the formation of red blood cells and neurotransmitters. It helps in cognitive development through the biosynthesis of neurotransmitters and maintains normal homocysteine (an amino acid in the blood) levels. Methylcobalamin (Mecobalamin) regulates body functions like cell multiplication, blood formation, and protein synthesis. It may also help treat alcoholic, diabetic neuropathy (nerve damage) and pernicious anaemia. Together, LM-Preg Tablet helps treat nutritional deficiencies.

FAQs

LM-Preg Tablet belongs to the class of 'multivitamins', primarily used to treat nutritional deficiencies.
LM-Preg Tablet is a vitamin supplement and consists of L-Methylfolate, Pyridoxal-5-phosphate (vitamin B6), and Methylcobalamin (vitamin B12). When you lack these vitamins in your body, which cannot be recovered even with the food sources, LM-Preg Tablet helps replenish these deficient levels. Collectively, LM-Preg Tablet treats nutritional deficiencies.
Pyridoxal-5-phosphate in LM-Preg Tablet may interfere with laboratory tests like urine tests for urobilinogen. Please make sure your doctor and the laboratory staff know that you take LM-Preg Tablet before undergoing blood and urine examinations.
Avoid taking more than one multivitamin product concomitantly unless advised by the doctor. Taking similar nutritional supplements simultaneously can lead to a vitamin overdose or other serious side effects.
Antacids may interfere with the absorption of LM-Preg Tablet . Hence, taking LM-Preg Tablet two hours before or four hours after taking antacids is advised.
If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. However, if it is time for the next scheduled dose, skip the missed dose and follow your usual dosage.
