Laxit Syrup is a laxative used to treat constipation. It softens the stools and makes them easier to pass. It is also used to provide relief from heartburn, indigestion, gastritis, acidity, and stomach upset.

Laxit Syrup contains liquid paraffin, magnesium hydroxide, simethicone, and sodium carboxymethylcellulose. It works by absorbing water into the bowel and making it easy to pass stools.

Laxit Syrup may cause certain side effects like loss of appetite, weakness, stomach upset, abdominal discomfort and diarrhoea. Talk to your doctor if you experience these side effects persistently.

• Prefer more whole foods and grains instead of processed ones. Limiting starch may also help decrease inflammation.
• Avoid intake of processed foods, foods high in sugar and fat, as these may cause inflammation.
• Try to avoid alcohol as it can affect your stomach and intestine and limit the absorption of the important nutrients required by your body.
