Kufril-BL Sugar Free Syrup 100 ml contains Bilastine, Dextromethorphan and Phenylephrine. It works by providing relief from cough and cold symptoms by blocking the action of a chemical messenger that causes cold and by acting on the cough centre in the brain.

Kufril-BL Sugar Free Syrup 100 ml is used to provide relief from acute cough and upper respiratory symptoms, including nasal congestion, associated with allergy or the common cold.  Kufril-BL Sugar Free Syrup 100 ml contains Bilastine (antihistamine), Dextromethorphan (anti-tussive) and Phenylephrine (decongestants). Bilastine blocks the action of histamine (chemical messenger), which causes allergies. Dextromethorphan reduces cough by acting on the cough centre in the brain. Phenylephrine works by reducing swelling of the blood vessels in the nasal passages. Together, Kufril-BL Sugar Free Syrup 100 ml provides relief from cough and cold. 

Directions for Use

Shake well before use and take the prescribed dose by mouth using the measuring cup provided by the pack.

Store in a cool and dry place away from sunlight

Drug Warnings

Do not take Kufril-BL Sugar Free Syrup 100 ml if you are allergic to any of the components in Kufril-BL Sugar Free Syrup 100 ml, if you are taking Monoamine oxidase inhibitors (used to treat depression) or have taken them in the last 14 days if you are taking serotonin reuptake inhibitors (used to treat depression), if you have a respiratory failure or lung disease, or if you are using other sympathomimetic decongestants. Inform the doctor if you have liver or kidney problems, chronic bronchitis, emphysema or asthma, cough with a lot of mucus (phlegm) or cough for a few weeks if you are taking any other cough/cold medicines if you are/have ever been addicted to opioids, prescription medicines, alcohol, or illegal drugs if you have been told by the doctor that you are a slow metabolizer of CYP2D6 (an enzyme)  if you have suffered from withdrawal symptoms when you have stopped taking alcohol or drugs, or if you have closed-angle glaucoma or prostatic enlargement. Let the doctor know if you are taking any other medicines, including supplements or herbal products.

Drug-Drug Interactions: Inform the doctor if you are taking antibiotics (erythromycin), anti-fungal (ketoconazole), calcium channel blockers (diltiazem), anti-anxiety (lorazepam), anti-depressants, cardiac glycosides, or anti-coagulants (warfarin).

Drug-Food Interactions: Inform the doctor if you are consuming grapefruit juice.
