About K-Calm Lotion

K-Calm Lotion belongs to a class of drugs called anti-itching agents used to treat mild itching in conditions such as rashes, eczema, sunburn, stings, insect bites, chickenpox, and poison ivy. Eczema is a skin condition that causes itchy, cracked, swollen, or rough skin.

K-Calm Lotion is a combination of Calamine (anti-itching agent) and Light liquid paraffin (emollient). Calamine causes a cooling sensation as it evaporates on the skin. Light liquid paraffin is an emollient (softens and soothes skin) that prevents loss of water from the outer layer of skin. Thus, it hydrates, softens the skin, and relieves dryness.

K-Calm Lotion is for external use only. Use K-Calm Lotion as advised by a doctor. Some people may experience rash or redness of the skin. These side effects of K-Calm Lotion do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.

If you are pregnant or a breastfeeding mother, it is advised to consult a doctor before using K-Calm Lotion. K-Calm Lotion is not recommended for children below 6 months of age without a doctor’s advice. K-Calm Lotion is for external use only. Avoid contact of K-Calm Lotion with nose, mouth, eyes, vagina, or rectum as it may cause irritation.
