Ipradin LS Inhaler 200 MDI is used to treat or prevent symptoms of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), like shortness of breath, coughing or wheezing (whistling sound while breathing). COPD is a group of lung diseases with emphysema (shortness of breath due to a damaged air sac) and chronic bronchitis (inflammation and narrowing of the lining of airways or bronchial tubes).

Ipradin LS Inhaler 200 MDI is a combination of two bronchodilators: Levosalbutamol and Ipratropium bromide. Ipradin LS Inhaler 200 MDI belongs to the class of bronchodilators that works by relaxing muscles and widening the airways of the lungs. Thereby, it allows us to breathe easily.

Use Ipradin LS Inhaler 200 MDI as prescribed. Your doctor will recommend how often you use Ipradin LS Inhaler 200 MDI based on your medical condition. Some people may experience headache, sore throat, dry mouth, runny or stuffy nose, pain, cough with mucus, sneezing, chest tightness, difficulty in breathing, dizziness, nervousness, tiredness, irregular heartbeats and vomiting. Most of these side effects of Ipradin LS Inhaler 200 MDI do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.

If you are allergic to Ipradin LS Inhaler 200 MDI or any other medicines, are pregnant or breastfeeding, or experience severe difficulty in breathing, please consult a doctor immediately. Do not use Ipradin LS Inhaler 200 MDI in more than the prescribed doses as it may lead to severe heart or lung problems. Regular monitoring of potassium levels is recommended while taking a prolonged intake of Ipradin LS Inhaler 200 MDI may cause low potassium levels in the blood. If you have high blood pressure, diabetes fits, enlarged prostate, glaucoma, thyroid or heart problems, bladder obstruction or other urinary problems, inform your doctor before taking Ipradin LS Inhaler 200 MDI. Please do not use or store Ipradin LS Inhaler 200 MDI near open flame or heat as it may burst the container.

• Eat foods rich in potassium such as tomatoes, bananas, asparagus, oranges, potatoes, avocados, dark leafy greens, and beetroots as potassium is important for lung function and a potassium deficiency may cause breathing problems.

• Drink plenty of fluids every day to thin mucus which makes it easier to cough out.

• Maintain a diet that includes complex carbohydrates such as lentils, beans, barley, oats, quinoa, bran, peas, and potatoes with skin.

• Limit or avoid the intake of caffeinated drinks such as tea, coffee, soda, and energy drinks like red bull.

• Eat protein-rich foods such as meat, fish (particularly salmon, sardines, and mackerel), eggs, and poultry.

• Exercise regularly to strengthen your breathing muscles and boost your immune system. Learning breathing exercises will help you move more air in and out of your lungs.

• Quit smoking as it may reduce the effectiveness of the Ipradin LS Inhaler 200 MDI and irritate the lungs worsening breathing problem.
