Ibires B 200mcg/100mcg Nexcap is combination medication primarily used to treat or prevent asthma symptoms like chest tightness, shortness of breath, coughing or wheezing (whistling sound while breathing).  Asthma is a chronic (long-term) respiratory condition in which airways narrow, swell, and produce extra mucus, leading to difficulty in breathing.

Ibires B 200mcg/100mcg Nexcap is a combination of two medicines, namely: Beclometasone (corticosteroid) and Salbutamol (bronchodilator). Beclometasone belongs to the class of corticosteroids that works by acting inside cells of the airways and stops the release of certain chemicals in the body that cause inflammatory reactions. Thereby, provides relief from sneezing, runny or blocked nose and sinus discomfort. Salbutamol belongs to the class of bronchodilators that works by relaxing muscles and widening the airways of the lungs. Thereby, it makes breathing easier. Ibires B 200mcg/100mcg Nexcap is not for use in acute (short term) attacks, but for routine long-term (chronic) management of asthma related complications.

Use Ibires B 200mcg/100mcg Nexcap as prescribed. Your doctor will recommend how often you use Ibires B 200mcg/100mcg Nexcap based on your medical condition. Some people may experience fungal infection in the mouth, headache, hoarse voice, sore throat or tongue, runny nose, pain, shakiness in the legs, arms, feet or hands and fast heart rate. Drug-Drug Interaction: Ibires B 200mcg/100mcg Nexcap may interact with bronchodilators (salmeterol, formoterol), steroids (budesonide, prednisone), water pills (furosemide), medicines used to lower high blood pressure (propranolol, metoprolol), bronchodilators (theophylline, aminophylline), antibiotic (azithromycin), an antidepressant (duloxetine), heart-related medicines (digoxin).

Drug-Food Interaction: Ibires B 200mcg/100mcg Nexcap may interact with alcohol. Therefore, avoid intake of alcohol with Ibires B 200mcg/100mcg Nexcap as it may increase adverse effects. Also, inform your doctor if you are taking any herbal supplements, vitamins, or OTC medicines.

• Avoid contact with known allergens (allergy-causing agents) such as pollen, dust, etc. Certain food items are known to cause allergies to you.
• Eat a healthy diet and exercise regularly to strengthen your breathing muscles and boost your immune system.
• Avoid foods such as cabbage, beans, garlic, onions, shrimp, pickled food, dried fruits, fried foods, carbonated drinks, wine, bottled lemon and lime juice as it may worsen asthma symptoms.
• Quit smoking as it may reduce the effectiveness of the Ibires B 200mcg/100mcg Nexcap and irritate the lungs worsening breathing problem.
• Learning breathing exercises will help you move more air in and out of your lungs.

• You are advised to rinse your mouth with water after each dose of Ibires B 200mcg/100mcg Nexcap because it not only removes the taste of medicine inhaled but also helps to avoid fungal infections in the mouth and throat. After rinsing your mouth thoroughly, you may drink water, milk or any liquids.
• Regular eye tests are recommended while taking Ibires B 200mcg/100mcg Nexcap if you have a history of glaucoma or cataracts.
