Hypnite-3 Tablet belongs to a group of medicines called 'sedative-hypnotics,' primarily used to treat sleep problems or insomnia. Insomnia is defined as a sleep disorder which makes it difficult to fall asleep or stay asleep.

Hypnite-3 Tablet contains 'Eszopiclone,' which is a sedative-hypnotic drug. Eszopiclone works by increasing the chemical substance in the brain called gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA). GABA is an amino acid that works as a neurotransmitter (a chemical messenger that transmits the message from one nerve cell to another nerve cell, muscle cell, or gland cell) in the central nervous system. This chemical substance slows down the brain's activity to produce a calming effect, thus helping you sleep.

Take Hypnite-3 Tablet as prescribed by your doctor. Your doctor will decide the dose and duration based on your medical condition and response to treatment. Common side effects of Hypnite-3 Tablet include headache, dizziness, taste changes, dry mouth, chills, cough, fever, hoarseness (abnormal voice changes), lower back or side pain, painful or difficult urination and drowsiness. These side effects are not familiar to everyone and vary individually. If you notice any side effects that are not manageable, please consult your doctor.

Please tell your doctor if you are allergic to Hypnite-3 Tablet or its components. If you are using any prescription and non-prescription medications, let your doctor know before starting Hypnite-3 Tablet . Avoid consuming alcohol along with Hypnite-3 Tablet as it can make you dizzy or drowsy. Do not drive or operate machinery while using Hypnite-3 Tablet since it can make you sleepy.

Behaviours like sleep-walking, sleep-driving, and engaging in other activities when you are not fully awake may occur while using Hypnite-3 Tablet . In such cases, discontinue using Hypnite-3 Tablet immediately and seek medical emergency. Please consult your doctor know if you are pregnant, planning to conceive or a breastfeeding mother. Avoid consuming alcohol along with Hypnite-3 Tablet as it might lead to increased side effects like dizziness and drowsiness. Avoid driving or operating machinery as Hypnite-3 Tablet may decrease your mental alertness, making you feel dizzy or drowsy. Hypnite-3 Tablet is not recommended for people below 18 years of age as safety and effectiveness have not been established.

Drug-Drug Interaction: Hypnite-3 Tablet may interact with drugs that treat daytime drowsiness (sodium oxybate), opioid pain relievers (codeine, hydrocodone), anti-anxiety drugs (alprazolam, lorazepam, zolpidem), muscle relaxants (carisoprodol, cyclobenzaprine), anti-allergic drugs (cetirizine), common cold medicines (diphenhydramine), mood disorders drugs (aripiprazole, duloxetine, quetiapine, bupropion, sertraline) and fits medicine (pregabalin).

Drug-Food Interaction: Do not consume alcohol while taking Hypnite-3 Tablet as it could lead to increased dizziness and drowsiness.

• Maintain proper weight by following a healthy diet.
• Exercise regularly as it helps in less cognitive decline and brain volume loss.
• Avoid smoking and alcohol consumption.
• Try to avoid stress by practising meditation or yoga.
• Include fruits and vegetables in your diet as they contain anti-oxidants.
• Eat nutritious food as it helps in cognitive stimulation.
• Limit foods with high cholesterol and saturated fats.
• Cut down on sugar, salt and processed foods.
• Drink plenty of water.
• Follow a healthy lifestyle as it helps in improving overall health and possibly protects the brain.

• Let your doctor know that you are taking Hypnite-3 Tablet if you are undergoing any medical tests.
• It is advised to monitor your blood pressure and blood sugar levels regularly while using Hypnite-3 Tablet . 
• Inform your doctor if your sleep does not improve even after using Hypnite-3 Tablet for a week.
• Liver function tests are recommended before and after the treatment with Hypnite-3 Tablet since it is metabolized in the liver.
