Gla 120 Capsule belongs to a class of 'omega fatty acids', used to prevent high blood pressure, arthritis, diabetic neuropathy, and improve heart health. It is also used to prevent acne and eczema. Gla 120 Capsule further relieves symptoms of pre-menstrual syndrome and prevents hot flashes during menopause.

Gla 120 Capsule contains ‘Gamma Linolenic acid’ (GLA) that acts as an antioxidant with anti-inflammatory properties. When too many free radicals accumulate in the body, it leads to various complications and diseases. Gamma-Linolenic acid helps nourish and protect the body from damage caused by free radicals. It fights cell damage and reduces inflammation. It also lowers the chances of heart disease by reducing high cholesterol levels. 

You are advised to take Gla 120 Capsule for as long as your doctor has advised it for you, depending on your medical condition. Gla 120 Capsule is usually well-tolerated and does not have any side effects. Sometimes, you may experience side effects like diarrhoea, belching, and flatulence (gas). Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.

Gla 120 Capsule contains Gamma-Linolenic acid, which is an omega fatty acid. It is an anti-inflammatory agent that may also decrease the risk of heart disease by reducing high cholesterol levels. If you are allergic to Gla 120 Capsule or other medicines, please inform your doctor. Gla 120 Capsule should be cautiously used in conditions like liver/kidney diseases and scheduled surgery. It is essential to inform your doctor if you are pregnant, planning to conceive, or breastfeeding before using Gla 120 Capsule . Talk to your doctor before taking Gla 120 Capsule if you have had any bleeding problems. Avoid consuming alcohol along with Gla 120 Capsule to avoid any side effects. Gla 120 Capsule should be used in children only when recommended by a doctor. Store Gla 120 Capsule at a temperature not exceeding 25°C- 30°C away from direct sunlight. 

Drug-Drug Interaction: Gla 120 Capsule may interact with blood thinners (aspirin, clopidogrel, enoxaparin, heparin, warfarin) and antipsychotic drugs (chlorpromazine, fluphenazine).

Drug-Food Interaction: Limit alcohol intake during the course to get the maximum benefits of Gla 120 Capsule .

Drug-Disease Interaction: If you have a bleeding disorder, kidney/liver disease, and scheduled surgery, inform your doctor before taking Gla 120 Capsule .

• Maintain proper weight by following a healthy and well-balanced diet.

• Avoid smoking and alcohol consumption.
• Exercise regularly and try to avoid stress by practising meditation or yoga.
• Include more fruits and vegetables in your diet as they contain antioxidants.
• Limit foods with high cholesterol and saturated fats.
• Cut down on sugar, salt, and processed foods.
• Drink plenty of water.

Inform your doctor that you are taking Gla 120 Capsule if undergoing any medical tests or have any surgery scheduled.
