Directions for Use

Tablet/Capsule: Swallow the tablet or capsule as a whole with a glass of water. You can take it with or without food at regular intervals, as prescribed by the doctor. Do not crush, chew or break it.

Folbate Tablet is used to treat iron deficiency and anemia.
Folbate Tablet is a nutritional supplement that consists of Zinc Sulphate, Ferrous Ascorbate and Folic acid. It works by restoring iron levels and boosting the body's production of red blood cells (RBC), thus treating iron deficiency anaemia.
It is recommended not to take Folbate Tablet along with tea, coffee, milk, and eggs since they might interfere with iron absorption from Folbate Tablet .
Folbate Tablet is best absorbed if taken on an empty stomach. But in some patients, Folbate Tablet may cause gastrointestinal disturbances like stomach upset or constipation when taken without food. So, please take it as suggested by your doctor if you have stomach problems.
Antacids may interfere with the absorption of iron. Hence, taking Folbate Tablet two hours before or four hours after taking antacids is advised.
Zinc Sulphate may decrease the absorption of antibiotics, thereby reducing their effectiveness. Maintaining at least an hour gap between Folbate Tablet and other antibiotics is advised.
