Flubi Eye Drops belongs to the class of medicines called nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) to prevent the pupil from narrowing or constricting during eye surgery. Also, Flubi Eye Drops is used to treat postoperative pain and swelling of the eye.
Flubi Eye Drops is a combination of two drugs, namely: Flurbiprofen (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug) and Hypromellose (eye lubricant). Flurbiprofen works by blocking the action of cyclo-oxygenase (COX) enzyme in the body involved in producing certain chemical substances such as prostaglandins that cause pain and swelling. Thereby, it helps in relieving pain and swelling after eye surgeries. Hypromellose works by forming a lubricating, transparent, and moistening film on the cornea (surface of the eye) and artificial tears. Thereby, it provides a soothing effect and relieves irritation and dryness caused by decreased tear flow.
Use Flubi Eye Drops as prescribed by your doctor. Flubi Eye Drops is only for use in eyes. You are advised to use Flubi Eye Drops for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you based on your medical condition. In some cases, you may experience eye redness, stinging or burning sensation in the eyes, changes in vision, itching of eyes, eye pain. Most of these side effects of Flubi Eye Drops do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.
If you are allergic to Flubi Eye Drops, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), or any other medicines, please tell your doctor. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, please consult a doctor. Flubi Eye Drops is not recommended for children unless advised by a doctor. Drive only if your vision is clear as Flubi Eye Drops may cause blurred vision. You are not recommended to use any other eye drops while using Flubi Eye Drops unless advised by your doctor.

Pain is not a disease but a symptom triggered by the nervous system, causing uncomfortable sensations in the body. Pain may be dull or sharp, it might be constant or may come and go. The tolerance level of pain might vary from person to person. Pain can be generalized (overall body aches) or localized (affecting a specific area of the body). Pain can be considered a good thing as it helps us know that something is wrong in the body and thereby helps diagnose the condition.
