About Ferock 100 Injection

Ferock 100 Injection belongs to the class of 'iron replacement products,' primarily used to treat iron deficiency anaemia in people with long-term kidney diseases. Iron deficiency anaemia is a condition in which the body does not have enough red blood cells for carrying adequate oxygen required to various body tissues due to insufficient iron.

Ferock 100 Injection contains Iron Sucrose that belongs to the class of 'haematinics'. Iron is a nutritional supplement required by the red blood cells to carry oxygen to other body cells and tissues. Ferock 100 Injection works by restoring the iron levels in the body. It also improves the quality of blood by increasing levels of haemoglobin (blood protein) and red blood cells.

Your doctor will decide the dosage based on your medical condition. In some cases, it may cause side effects like muscle cramps, nausea, vomiting, taste changes, diarrhoea, constipation, headache, cough, back pain, flu symptoms, joint pain, dizziness, and swelling of the arms and legs. Most of these side effects of Ferock 100 Injection do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if these side effects persist longer, please consult your doctor.
