About Efem Capsule

Efem Capsule belongs to the group of medications known as 'nutritional supplements' primarily indicated to treat premenstrual syndrome, mastalgia (breast pain), and muscle cramps. Premenstrual syndrome is a condition in which a woman experiences symptoms 1-2 weeks before their period. Mastalgia is breast pain related to hormonal fluctuations that may be cyclical or non-cyclical. Muscle cramps are sudden, involuntary contractions or spasms in the muscles.

Efem Capsule contains Evening primrose oil and tocotrienols. Evening primrose oil is rich in omega-6 essential fatty acids, linoleic acid, and gamma-linolenic acid (GLA), which can help with premenstrual syndrome and menopausal symptoms. Tocotrienols (Vitamin E) promote healthy skin and eyes, as well as a stronger immune system.

You are advised to take Efem Capsule for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you, depending on your medical condition and need. Some people may experience headaches, nausea, rashes, stomach upset, and diarrhoea. Most of these side effects of Efem Capsule do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.

Do not take Efem Capsule if you are allergic to any of the contents. Consult your doctor before using Efem Capsule if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. If you have a history of blood disorders, seizures (fits), liver disease, kidney disease, or heart problems, please inform your doctor before using Efem Capsule . Keep your doctor informed about your health condition and all the medicines you take to rule out any side effects.
