Ebasprit 10mg Tablet is used to treat allergic conditions like seasonal allergies/hay fever, allergic rhinitis, perennial allergic rhinitis (stuffy nose) and allergic conjunctivitis (eye allergies). Allergy is the response of the body to a foreign substance.
Ebasprit 10mg Tablet contains 'Ebastine' that works by blocking the effect of histamine (chemical messenger), which is responsible for allergic reactions, thereby providing relief from allergic symptoms such as swelling, itching, rashes, sneezing, runny nose and watery eyes.
You are advised to take Ebasprit 10mg Tablet as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you, depending on your medical condition. In some cases, Ebasprit 10mg Tablet may cause common side effects such as dry mouth, headache, and drowsiness. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to your doctor if you experience these side effects persistently.

Ebasprit 10mg Tablet belongs to the group of medicines called histamine H1 receptor antagonists used to treat allergic conditions like symptoms of seasonal allergies (hay fever), allergic rhinitis (stuffy nose), and allergic conjunctivitis (allergy in the eye). Do not take Ebasprit 10mg Tablet if you are allergic to any of its contents. Talk to your doctor before taking Ebasprit 10mg Tablet if you have heart disease such as ECG alteration (prolongation of QT interval). Take Ebasprit 10mg Tablet with caution if you have low levels of potassium in the blood. Avoid consuming Ebasprit 10mg Tablet along with erythromycin (antibiotics) and ketoconazole (anti-fungal) as it might lead to higher levels of Ebasprit 10mg Tablet in the blood leading to toxicity. Consult your doctor before taking Ebasprit 10mg Tablet if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Ebasprit 10mg Tablet may cause drowsiness and dizziness, so drive if you are alert.
