About DOLOKIND EYE DROPS 5ML

DOLOKIND EYE DROPS 5ML belongs to the class of medicines called nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) to prevent the pupil from narrowing or constricting during eye surgery. Also, DOLOKIND EYE DROPS 5ML is used to treat postoperative pain and swelling of the eye.

DOLOKIND EYE DROPS 5ML is a combination of two drugs, namely: Flurbiprofen (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug) and Hypromellose (eye lubricant). Flurbiprofen works by blocking the action of cyclo-oxygenase (COX) enzyme in the body involved in producing certain chemical substances such as prostaglandins that cause pain and swelling. Thereby, it helps in relieving pain and swelling after eye surgeries. Hypromellose works by forming a lubricating, transparent, and moistening film on the cornea (surface of the eye) and artificial tears. Thereby, it provides a soothing effect and relieves irritation and dryness caused by decreased tear flow.

Use DOLOKIND EYE DROPS 5ML as prescribed by your doctor. DOLOKIND EYE DROPS 5ML is only for use in eyes. You are advised to use DOLOKIND EYE DROPS 5ML for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you based on your medical condition. In some cases, you may experience eye redness, stinging or burning sensation in the eyes, changes in vision, itching of eyes, eye pain. Most of these side effects of DOLOKIND EYE DROPS 5ML do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.

Directions for Use

DOLOKIND EYE DROPS 5ML is for external use only. Wash your hands thoroughly with water before and after use. Lie down and tilt your head backward. Pull your lower eyelid gently with your index finger to form a pocket. Instill the number of drops as advised by the doctor into the pocket of the lower eyelid. Close your eyes for 1-2 minutes. Replace the outer cap after use. Do not touch the tip of the container to the eye, eyelids, or surrounding areas as it may contaminate DOLOKIND EYE DROPS 5ML.
