CRUXOL 125MG SYRUP is used to reduce fever and treat mild to moderate pain. Also, it is used to relieve headaches, migraine, toothache, period pain, back pain, muscle pain and rheumatic pains. Pain and fever are caused by the activation of pain receptors due to the release of certain natural chemicals in the body, like prostaglandin.

CRUXOL 125MG SYRUP contains acetaminophen that works by inhibiting the production of certain chemical messengers in the brain known as prostaglandins. Thus, reducing pain. Also, CRUXOL 125MG SYRUP affects an area of the brain that regulates body temperature known as the hypothalamic heat-regulating centre. Thereby it reduces fever.

Directions for Use

Tablet/capsule: Swallow it as a whole with water; do not crush, break or chew it.Chewable tablets: Chew the tablet completely and swallow. Do not swallow it as a whole.Orally disintegrating Tablet: Keep the tablet in the mouth and allow it to disintegrate. Do not swallow as a whole. Avoid handling the strip with wet hands.Oral Suspension/Paed drops: Shake the bottle well before each use. Take the recommended dose by mouth using the measuring cup/dosing syringe/dropper.Effervescent Tablets/Dispersible Tablets/Soluble Tablets: Check the label for directions before use. Disperse the tablet in the recommended amount of water and swallow the contents. Do not crush, chew or swallow as a whole.Powder/granules: Check the label for directions before use. Mix the powder/granules in water, mix well and drink immediately.

Drug-Food Interactions: CRUXOL 125MG SYRUP may interact with St. John’s wort (herbal medicine to treat depression).  Avoid foods rich in carbohydrates and pectin, including jellies, cabbage, Brussels sprouts and broccoli as CRUXOL 125MG SYRUP may interact with these foods. Also, avoid intake of alcohol with CRUXOL 125MG SYRUP as it may increase the risk of liver damage.
