About Covihope 200mg Tablet

Covihope 200mg Tablet belongs to a group of antiviral medicines used to treat coronavirus disease. It is also indicated for the treatment of influenza, ebola, and other pathogenic viral infections. Coronavirus disease, also known as SARS-CoV-2 (Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Corona Virus 2), is an infectious disease caused by the coronavirus.
 
Covihope 200mg Tablet contains ‘Favipiravir’, which inhibits RNA polymerase, an enzyme that helps the coronavirus replicate itself. Thus, Covihope 200mg Tablet lowers the virus load in the body and helps treat the infection.
 
You are advised to take Covihope 200mg Tablet for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you depending on your medical condition. In some cases, you may experience certain common side effects such as diarrhoea, hyperuricemia (elevated uric acid), reduced neutrophil count, nausea, vomiting, and abdominal pain. You are advised to talk to your doctor if you experience these side effects persistently.
 
Do not take Covihope 200mg Tablet if you are pregnant, think you are pregnant or planning for pregnancy. Avoid breastfeeding while taking Covihope 200mg Tablet. Directions for Use

Tablet/Capsule: Swallow it as a whole with water; do not chew or crush the tablet/capsule.Suspension: Shake the bottle well before use. Take the prescribed dose by mouth using the measuring cup/dosing syringe/dropper provided by the pack.
