Cequa Ophthalmic Solution 10 x 0.25 ml is used in the treatment of severe keratitis (inflammation of the cornea) in adults. Also, it is used to treat dry eyes in patients whose condition has not been improved with artificial tears. A dry eye is a common condition that occurs when tears are unable to provide sufficient moisture.
Cequa Ophthalmic Solution 10 x 0.25 ml contains Cyclosporine, which works by increasing tear production and decreasing inflammation (swelling) in the eye.
Use Cequa Ophthalmic Solution 10 x 0.25 ml as prescribed by your doctor. Cequa Ophthalmic Solution 10 x 0.25 ml is only for use in eyes. You are advised to use Cequa Ophthalmic Solution 10 x 0.25 ml for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you based on your medical condition. In some cases, you may experience eye irritation, eye pain, watery eyes, itching in the eye, redness or swelling of the eyelid, and blurred vision using Cequa Ophthalmic Solution 10 x 0.25 ml. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.

Use a humidifier in your room to increase moisture and avoid dry climates.
Limit the time you spend in front of the television or computer.
If dry eyes are caused by environmental factors, wear protective eyewear during outdoor activities when it’s windy and avoid exposure to cigarette smoke.
Limit wearing contact lenses and use soft contact lenses if you have dry eyes, as they are moist and allow the eye to breathe better than hard contact lenses.
Take omega-3-fatty acid supplements as they may be helpful in treating dry eyes.
Regular eye examinations are recommended every 3 to 6 months to assess the effects of Cequa Ophthalmic Solution 10 x 0.25 ml.
Dry eyes: A common condition occurs when tears do not provide enough moisture. Redness, pain, burning sensation, sensitivity to light, blurred vision, discomfort in the eye, watery eyes, difficulty reading or sitting in front of a computer for an extended period of time, or eyes becoming tired faster than usual are some of the symptoms.
Keratitis: Inflammation of the cornea occurs as a result of wearing contact lenses frequently, injury, diabetes, or surgery.
