Cab 13 Tablet is a nutritional supplement used effectively in treating various conditions like vitamin D deficiency, osteoporosis, hyperparathyroidism, and rickets or osteomalacia caused by low calcium levels in the body. It is also used for postpartum care, in pregnancy and lactation, and for postmenopausal women.

Cab 13 Tablet consists of Calcium orotate. It is used to treat calcium deficiency and provides essential nutrients necessary for bone formation and maintenance.

Cab 13 Tablet does not cause any serious side effects. However, if you find any side effects, such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, or a mild stomach upset, inform your your doctor. Take Cab 13 Tablet as recommended by the healthcare provider or the dietician.

Discontinue taking Cab 13 Tablet and inform your doctor if you find any allergic reactions to any of the components of this medicine. Please inform your doctor if you have heart/kidney/liver/blood vessel disorders and malabsorption syndrome (difficulty absorbing nutrition from food). Pregnant or breastfeeding women can safely use Cab 13 Tablet as it is generally recommended by doctors.

Cab 13 Tablet is used to treat low blood calcium levels. It effectively treats various conditions caused by low calcium levels in the body, like Vitamin D deficiency, osteoporosis, and rickets or osteomalacia. Cab 13 Tablet contains Calcium orotate, a mineral used to prevent or treat a calcium deficiency. It provides essential nutrients to maintain bone formation. It further prevents cartilage degeneration.

Cab 13 Tablet usually does not cause any side effects.

Cab 13 Tablet should be avoided in case of any known allergy to either of the components. Keep your physician informed about your complete medical and medication history to rule out any side effects. Let your doctor know if you have any history of heart, kidney, liver, blood vessel disorders, kidney stones, and phosphate imbalance before starting Cab 13 Tablet . Drug-Drug Interaction: Cab 13 Tablet may interact with bisphosphates (alendronate, risedronate), quinolone, tetracycline drugs (doxycycline), and other drugs.

Drug-Food Interaction: Avoid or reduce the intake of caffeine, soft drinks and alcohol as they might inhibit calcium absorption.

Drug-Disease Interaction: Cab 13 Tablet is contraindicated in patients with hypercalcemia.

• Include dairy products like milk, yoghurt, cheese, or milk-based custard in your diet.
• Eat a serving of broccoli, cabbage, bok choy, spinach, beans, and other green leafy vegetables.
• Include the best dietary sources of vitamin D, such as fish liver oils and vitamin D-fortified milk.
• Snack on calcium-rich nuts like Brazil nuts or almonds. 
• Sprinkle sesame seeds over your food, vegetables, and salads. Sesame seeds are high in calcium.

• It is advised to frequently monitor your calcium levels through a blood examination.
• It is advised not to take Cab 13 Tablet without food, as it can cause kidney stones.

Vitamin D deficiency: When a person cannot get enough Vitamin D through food and exposure to sunlight, it leads to vitamin D deficiency. It often leads to thin, brittle or misshapen bones. 

Osteoporosis: It is a bone disorder that makes the bones weak and brittle by decreasing bone density.
