About Benfonerve Capsule

Benfonerve Capsule belongs to the class of 'vitamins', primarily used to treat neuropathic pain associated with peripheral neuropathy (nerve damage in the hands and feet) and diabetic neuropathy (nerve damage due to diabetes). It is a nervous system disorder caused due to damaged sensory nerves. It is caused by chronic progressive nerve disease or due to infection or injury. The pain could be intermittent or continuous, which is felt as a prickling, stabbing, tingling, or burning sensation.

Benfonerve Capsule contains Alpha lipoic acid, Benfotiamine, Folic acid, Inositol, Methylcobalamin and Pyridoxine. Alpha-lipoic acid is an antioxidant that prevents oxidative stress, thereby helping to provide a protective effect on the nerve tissues and the brain. Folic acid and Benfotiamine help in providing essential nutrients to the nerves. Methylcobalamin and Pyridoxine help rejuvenate and protect damaged nerve cells by producing a substance called myelin. Inositol works by dilating the blood vessels and improving blood circulation. Together, Benfonerve Capsule helps in providing relief from neuropathic pain.

Take Benfonerve Capsule with or without food as advised by the doctor. Your doctor will decide the duration and dose of Benfonerve Capsule based on your medical condition. Sometimes, Benfonerve Capsule may cause common side effects like nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, stomach upset, dizziness, and rash. These side effects do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if any side effects persist or worsen, please consult a doctor.

Let your doctor know if you use any prescription and non-prescription medications, including other vitamins, before starting Benfonerve Capsule . Please tell your doctor if you are allergic to any components of Benfonerve Capsule . Let your doctor know if you are pregnant, planning to conceive, or breastfeeding. Benfonerve Capsule may cause dizziness; hence drive with caution. Avoiding alcohol is recommended to rule out any possibility of side effects like dizziness.
