It is also used to treat allergic skin conditions with inflammation, itching, and anxiety or tension. An anxiety disorder is a mental condition characterized by excessive fear or worry that affects an individual's daily activities. 

Atarax Injection 2 ml contains Hydroxyzine, an antihistamine medicine. It is primarily used to treat allergic reactions. It works by blocking the histamine receptor's action, which is responsible for allergic symptoms. Thus, it plays a vital role in effectively treating allergic reactions. In addition to this, it is also used to treat anxiety, as it decreases the brain's activity. 

A trained healthcare professional will administer Atarax Injection 2 ml. Hence, do not self-administer. This medicine may cause certain side effects such as itching, skin allergy, nausea, constipation, sedation, vomiting, upset stomach, diarrhea and injection site reactions. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. Drug-Drug interactions: Atarax Injection 2 ml is known to interact with opiates (meperidine), heart medicines (quinidine), Alzheimer's disease medications (donepezil, galantamine), anticholinergics (benztropine, scopolamine), antipsychotics (chlorpromazine, clozapine, fluphenazine, thioridazine, risperidone, trazodone), pain relievers (acetaminophen, aspirin, ibuprofen), medicines used for bladder problems (oxybutynin, tolterodine).

Drug-Food interactions: Atarax Injection 2 ml should not be used along with alcohol as it is known to increase CNS depressive effect. 

Drug-Disease Interactions: Atarax Injection 2 ml should be used with caution with glaucoma (pressure inside the eye), emphysema (lung disease), asthma, ulcer, urine retention, hyperthyroidism, heart failure, hypertension, kidney or liver problem.

• Avoid alcohol consumption while on treatment with Atarax Injection 2 ml, as this can lead to additive side effects, such as increased drowsiness.
• The immune system is affected by stress, which raises the risk of being sick. An individual can exercise regularly, meditate, do deep breathing, and try progressive muscle relaxation techniques to relieve stress.
• To stay fit, try sleeping at least 8 hours each night. Regular exercise can help lower anxiety by releasing endorphins and improving your sleep and self-image. 
• Maintain personal hygiene and keep your surroundings clean.
• Find humour in your daily life. Try to watch a comedy show to help relieve stress.
• You can try increasing your mindfulness by including yoga, mindfulness-based cognitive therapy and stress reduction.
• Drink enough water to stay hydrated, and limit caffeine to relieve anxiety.
• Include a diet rich in whole grains, vegetables, and fruits. This is a healthier option than eating many simple carbohydrates in processed foods.
• Herbs like turmeric, ginger, and chamomile contain anti-inflammatory properties. Including these in a meal can reduce inflammation caused by anxiety disorders.

Alcohol consumption should not be done with Atarax Injection 2 ml as it can potentiate the CNS (central nervous system) effect and lead to depression.
