About AMFY V GE

AMFY V GE belongs to a class of medicines called 'antifungals' used to treat vaginal fungal infections such as vaginal candidiasis. Vaginal candidiasis is an infection of the vagina and tissues at the vulva (opening of the vagina) caused by yeast (a type of fungi) called candida. It causes inflammation, intense itchiness, and thick, white discharge from the vagina.

AMFY V GE contains Amphotericin B, which kills fungi by destroying the fungal outer cell membrane. The fungal cell membranes are essential for their survival as they prevent the entry of unwanted substances into the cells and stop the leakage of cell contents.

Use AMFY V GE as advised by the doctor. AMFY V GE is only for vaginal use. It is usually safe and does not cause any side effects. However, if you experience unusual side effects, please consult your doctor.

If you are allergic to Amphotericin B or other medicines, please tell your doctor. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, it is advised to inform your doctor before using AMFY V GE. Do not use AMFY V GE in more than prescribed doses or for prolonged periods as it may cause adverse effects.
