Alveospre 50mcg Nasal Spray belongs to the group of medicines called corticosteroids used to treat nasal symptoms associated with seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis. Allergic rhinitis, also called hay fever, is an inflammation or swelling of the nose lining.

Alveospre 50mcg Nasal Spray contains Ciclesonide, which works by preventing and decreasing the inflammation in the nose. Thereby, it provides relief from symptoms like sneezing and stuffy, runny or itchy nose.

In some cases, Alveospre 50mcg Nasal Spray may cause side effects like headache, nosebleeds, earache, and irritation or burning in the nose. Most of these side effects may not require medical attention and resolve gradually over time. However, consult the doctor if the side effects persist or worsen.

Do not use Alveospre 50mcg Nasal Spray if you are allergic to any of its components. Inform the doctor if you have/had any history of asthma, tuberculosis, bacterial, fungal, or viral infection, glaucoma, cataracts, herpes infection of the eye, nasal pain that has not healed, nose injury/surgery, arthritis, eczema, liver or kidney problems. Consult the doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Tell your doctor if you have never had measles or chickenpox and have not been vaccinated against these infections. Stay away from people who are sick, as Alveospre 50mcg Nasal Spray may decrease your ability to fight infections. Alveospre 50mcg Nasal Spray is not recommended for use in children below 12 years of age.
