About Alfuzee 10mg Tablet

Alfuzee 10mg Tablet is used to treat the symptoms of benign prostatic hypertrophy. Benign prostatic hyperplasia occurs due to non-cancerous enlargement of the prostate gland due to the multiplication of the cells. Benign prostatic hypertrophy/hyperplasia mostly occurs in older men.
 
Alfuzee 10mg Tablet contains ‘Alfuzosin’ that works by blocking the receptors (alpha 1) on the prostate gland, bladder and urethra (urine pipe). Alfuzee 10mg Tablet relaxes the muscles of the bladder and prostate; this reduces the narrowing of the urethra. Thereby, helps in relieving the symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia and makes it easier to pass urine.
 
You are advised to take Alfuzee 10mg Tablet for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you, depending on your medical condition. In some cases, you may experience certain common side-effects such as dizziness, nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, stomach pain, headache, and dry mouth. Most of these side-effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to your doctor if you experience these side-effects persistently.
 
Rise slowly from a sitting/lying position as Alfuzee 10mg Tablet may cause dizziness or weakness. Alfuzee 10mg Tablet is intended for use in men only; women should not take Alfuzee 10mg Tablet, especially pregnant or breastfeeding women. Do not take more than the prescribed dose of Alfuzee 10mg Tablet as it may cause overdose.
