About AGA 10% Lotion

AGA 10% Lotion belongs to the class of ‘vasodilators’ used to treat alopecia (hair loss). AGA 10% Lotion stimulates hair growth and slows down the process of balding. Alopecia is the thinning or loss of hair on the scalp or any part of the body.

AGA 10% Lotion contains ‘Minoxidil’, a vasodilator that widens the blood vessels. This vasodilation process helps provide oxygen, blood, and nutrients to the hair follicles, thereby preventing hair cell death and promoting new hair growth.

Your doctor will suggest the dose and duration based on your condition. Some common side effects of AGA 10% Lotion include changes in the colour/texture of the hair, excessive hair growth, headache, itching, skin irritation, dryness, shortness of breath, scaling of the skin, and redness. These side effects usually do not require medical attention and gradually resolve during the treatment. If the side effects persist or worsen, consult a doctor.

Do not apply AGA 10% Lotion to shaved, inflamed, infected, irritated, or painful scalp skin. Before using AGA 10% Lotion, let your doctor know if you have high blood pressure, sunburn, eczema, psoriasis, heart diseases like angina (chest pain), a recent heart attack, and circulation disorders. AGA 10% Lotion not recommended for pregnant and breastfeeding women.
