Adenoxyl HB Tablet belongs to the group of medicines called nutritional supplements used to treat and prevent nutritional deficiencies such as iron deficiency anaemia, iron deficiency due to low intake of iron, or iron/nutritional deficiency that occurs during pregnancy and lactation. A nutritional deficiency occurs when the body does not absorb or get enough nutrients from food. Vitamins and minerals are necessary for body development and the prevention of diseases.
 
Adenoxyl HB Tablet contains Carbonyl iron, Adenosylcobalamin, Folic acid, and Zinc oxide. Carbonyl iron acts as a source of iron which helps in the transportation of oxygen throughout the body and the production of red blood cells.  Adenosylcobalamin helps in the proper functioning of the brain, nerves, and the production of red blood cells. Folic acid is necessary for various bodily functions, such as nucleotide biosynthesis and remethylation of homocysteine. Zinc oxide helps in the growth and development of body tissues. Together, Adenoxyl HB Tablet helps in treating nutritional deficiencies.
 
You are advised to take Adenoxyl HB Tablet for as long as your doctor has recommended it for you, depending on your medical condition. In some cases, you may experience common side effects such as stomach upset, constipation, diarrhoea, nausea, and vomiting. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to your doctor if the side effects persist or worsen.

Directions for Use

Tablet/capsule: Swallow it as a whole with a glass of water; do not chew or break it.Liquid/Syrup/Drops: Take the recommended dose by mouth using the measuring cup/dropper/dosing syringe provided by the pack; shake the pack well before use.

Adenoxyl HB Tablet can be taken with antibiotics if advised by the doctor. However, maintain a gap of 2 hours between Adenoxyl HB Tablet and antibiotic medicines, as taking them together might decrease their effectiveness.
Adenoxyl HB Tablet may cause constipation. Eat fibre-rich food and drink plenty of fluids if you experience constipation. Consult your doctor if you have severe constipation.
